Solutions Traveling Duck

Sure these swimming duckies paddle around the pool, pond or anywhere else there’s a refreshing bath of water, but we soon discovered that everything is more fun with yellow ducks!

A couple of our staff members have already taken the ducks on vacation and found that they make perfect travel companions—and they get a lot of attention. Below are some photos of our ducks on their adventures.

Tal Gur Upcycles Old Newspapers Into the Daily Chair

The Daily Chair is an inspiring design from Israeli Tal Gur, which turns day-old newspapers into an upcycled, functional chair. Having made its debut at Milan Design Week, the futuristic-looking chair is constructed with a wire mesh frame and covered with the pulp of newspapers. The chair was the centerpiece of the Promisedesign exhibition, a collection that showcased innovative Israeli designers.

Using a technique beloved by children around the world, Gur used papier-mache to form and smooth the used newspapers.
